The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully;be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.

I used to be a power seller selling about 200 items per month on the site now because of the FB system I have given up on Ebay.

Ebay do not give a damn for the people who pay their wages. 'The Sellers'.

Check out that Ebay's stock it has been in decline for the last 5 years and was plummeting for the last 12 months long before the present situation.

The choices on ebay are way down in the last 12 months

New sellers won't last 5 minutes due to ebays new fees.

Buyer don't pay Ebay squat. The sellers pay Ebay.

I am one among thousands who have left ebay due to their high handed attitude.

The above poster is right but I think the people who benefit the most from ebay are the dropshippers.

I use to sell my own programs on there, then switched everything over to go digital when they allowed people to sell digital items. Then they did away with that and really screwed me over in the process. I used to sell 4 or 5 items a day, and now I'm lucky if I even sell that many in a month. It's not worth the hassle. I hate the new feedback system as well. They really ruined a good thing.

EBay really has become a haven for wholesalers.  Independent sellers were once king and now are little fish swimming in a big pond. You just can't compete with the big money.  The larger companies tend to get away with breaking the rules.  I remember one instance where I purchased an item that was to ship within 2 days.  I didn't get it for 3 weeks.  The reason?  The seller was out of stock.  How is it a seller can post an item they don't even have? I asked Ebay why the seller was allowed to post an item they did not have.  They NEVER responded to the question.  It is this sort of "playing loose" with the rules and with contracts that adds to the trouble eBay is now experiencing.

I agree. I used to be a seller and now the fees take away all my profit.

Yeah, I sold a  couple of old coins on on eBay a few months ago and the fees were nearly 30% of my total price. What a ripoff.
