Motivation is everything. You can do the work of two people, but you can't be two people. Instead, you have to inspire the next guy down the line and get him to inspire his people.

I just started using ebay for the first time to sell some things my wife and I have around the house. One thing I didn't count on was ebay's "Final Value Fee" being so darn high on items I've sold.

In one case, ebay took $7.50 "Final Value Fee" from an item I sold for only $50 !!!  That's on top of their "Insertion Fee". Then they nail you with Paypal fees !!!

They don't offer any real support staff or an easily accessible phone number. Buyer and seller protection is non-existent. To top it all off, they have advertising all over their site. Talk about greed.

In the end it really leaves me with a bad feeling about ebay overall.
