Two reasons not to sell on eBay.

1. eBay increases their fees every few months, it's sad.

2. There are a large amount of buyer scammers on eBay, they buy from you, receive the goods and expect a refund.  Make sure to ship with tracking if you ever sell on eBay to avoid this.

Good luck,

You can say that again. I quit selling and buying on eBay over two years ago because of all the scammers, the biggest one being Paypal.

I quit long before that when they screwed me over and gave somebody their money back when I knew full well nothing was wrong with an item I sent

I'm a PowerSeller on eBay currently, but I really feel you guys. I plan on quitting eBay as soon as my Internet Marketing campaign picks up.

Between the high fees, the unfair one way feedback system, and the fact that most wholesalers are cutting out the eBay middleman . . . it just doesn't really seem worth it anymore.

Ebay has had it's day. They are only increasing prices now to make up for all the losses in sales due to their 2008 changes (feedback and digital items specifically). Those changes really affected them, and they tried to blame it on the economy. But Craigslist was gaining visitors while they were losing visitors that whole time. They are just trying to keep the stock looking hot, but they are running on E at this point.

Ebay and Paypal, two of the most unethical companies I've ever dealt with.
