I got a notice that they are giving 20 dollars in clicks for the next 48 hours, since im signed up as a advertiser in addition to publisher.  I was going to do it but then they ask for credit card and phone number and im not sure I trust bidvertiser that much. ;)

You might want to sign up a advertiser account at bidvertiser to get this offer in the future from them.

They have been making that offer for months now. I have the same feelings as you. If they offer to give something for "free", why do they need your credit card in advance. If I like the service after my free trial, i will gladly give my credit card but I have had bad results with free YPN and free Adwords coupons where they charged my without permission for campaigns after my free trial expired. I don't have alot of money and credit cards charge interest so for me it's a sneaky way for them to get you into a spot where they can charge you more later then you have to spend time hoping you can prove to your credit card company the charges were fraudulent and most of the time you will never get your money back.

I'm with you, it's not worth the risk.

So they're like google banning publishers for no fault of the publishers. It's best not to waste time with them.

Today my banners on two different sites had blue colored links (they were set at grey).  I don't know why it was changed but i switched the colors back.  Bidvertiser is pretty shady.  But they don't require tax info, pay by paypal, and pay better than most PPC advertisers, so Ill stick with them for some of my sites.

Google adsense doesn't work well on every site because some websites aren't contextual so you wind up getting crazy ads.  For example on one of my sites i was getting hurricane katrina ads because of one post I made, which is not what i want.

yahoo also has the capability to go by "categories" unlike adsense.

The Hurricane Katrina ads are PSA'a that Google puts usually when your site is about to get banned from adsense. I was getting those before my Adsense got banned. First my adsense account had login troubles and then I had the PSA's and then a few days later I got the letter I was banned. I only had $6 in my Adsense so it was dumb I got banned.

Good luck Paul, I pray they don't ban you.

why would you do that?  Bidvertiser only pays half of what adsense pays.
