I notice a lot of Hydra links are pointing to lynxtrack.com Is Hydra also LynxTrack or is that their old name? I found some posts from a long time ago on an affiliate forum about LynxTrack being a scam and not paying http://revboard.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/8361030601/m/7471041402Now I feel a little bit unsure about putting any PPC money into Hydra. Can anybody clear this up for me ?
i cant say i know anything of great value about this one. i would probably trust your own initial sentiment .
Edit:
further investigations show:
Hydra, LLC was established in 2003 by pioneers of the Internet marketing and advertising space, and today is a specialist and leader in the performance-based on-line affiliate advertising business, and in email data management. The company's vision is to leverage the continuing migration of consumers to the new media across several business operations built upon a strategic foundation of pay-for-performance direct marketing. Both Hydra Network and e:Response operate on completely proprietary systems developed and maintained by in-house technical and creative professionals. The company is privately held and headquartered in Beverly Hills, CA. Hydra, LLC was formerly known as Hydra Media Group. In April of 2005, we renamed our day to day operation to Hydra, and also changed the name of our well-known affiliate advertising network from LynxTrack™ to Hydra Network™. from http://www.aboutus.org/HydraNetwork.com In no way was my intial response supposed to be derogatory to the hydra network, although my editting it shows i felt it could have been construed that way. I was basically saying i didn't know anything about the network . I do now and according to knowledgeable sources they are a great network.

You can do anything if you have enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes rise to the stars. With it, there is accomplishment. Without it there are only alibis.

If you read a bit further down the page you posted you'll get a better answer to your question.
In my opinion, Hydra Network is my absolute favorite. Sure, all CPA companies have detractors and most have had a rocky start but the point is not what Hydra was in 2003 but what they are today in 2008 and they're one of the most professional networks out there. |

| I think that is true. People who get banned must do something wrong or break the rules or cheat. If you follow the rules, most of the larger affiliate programs will pay on time. |
