| How long has this one been in business. I noticed they are from Australia. Might make it difficult for US publishers to make contact with them. |

| I don't like them because they require your site have a minimum 100K Alexa ranking. Stupid programs judge a site by Alexa ranking bcoz the Alexa rankings are easy to fake. |

| Adtoll just passed their one year anniversary. So far, I'm not earning very much with them but I haven't placed their code on too many pages. |

I have used them as an advertiser. Did a "run of network"ad with them. They have geographic targeting, and you can pay by Paypal. The traffic seems to be pretty good. I will use them again.
(I'd also recommend Bidvertiser and Clicksor for people who want to advertise.) |

Thanks for the insight Matt. I assumed that AdToll would be a decent network for inexpensive ads, which is why I wrote this article about them...
http://www.affiliatebestprograms.com/inexpensive-online-website-advertising-companies-for-bloggers/
The only two things that bother me about AdToll are concerning publishers not advertisers. First, their publisher approval staff seem to have their heads up their arses and second, that they use Alexa rankings as a valuation of a site. I personally have sites that rank between 300-500K in Alexa and get 10x the traffic that sites I have in the top 100K generate. You would figure an advertising network would know that Alexa rankings are only counted if people visiting the site have the Alexa toolbar installed. Sites that cater to non-webmaster community generally have very poor Alexa rankings because it's not like moms, grandparents and other dempgraphics who have purchasing power on the internet are going to install the Alexa toolbar.
Another thing that peeves me is that AdToll took the "John Chow" route (see: The “John Chow Effect” on AdToll) which can only mean their network is fairly comprised of some of the absolutely unethical publishers who will lie, cheat and steal for commissions. Everyone knows John Chow has been banned from Technorati, Digg, Reddit and even Google because of his cheating, so I fail to see how any reputable advertising network would even consider him as a positive influence for advertsiers. I do quite a bit of advertising for my sites and whenever I see any company partnering with John Chow or Shoemoney, I steer clear of them because I know ethics have been tossed out the window. Not to mention, Adtoll paid $400 for the John Chow review.
