JMV,
I was doing somw searching on the internet for Native American Blues Music and I found this on YouTube...

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nD1YMVRORz0" rel="nofollow">Bam Bams Tribute To The SIOUX Nation Video 2006</a>

It's pretty moving tribute to the Great Sioux Nation with video and collages of pictures surrounding Mt. Rushmore set to a peaceful yet haunting melody.

I already admit you do have good intentions by enlightening people to online scams. I also think your new approach in taking things from a factual standpoint and not injecting unnecessary sarcasm will certainly encourage people to take what you do more seriously. I've never had a problem with crusading against scams, but in the past when it turned to attacks and rants, it did more harm than good (that's my opinion).

I'm sure you see I've taken a different stance on hyip and surf programs. While I once believed there was a possibility for a legitimate offering, after two years of looking, I've found them all, 100% to be either a ponzi scheme, scam or just plain bull. I guess I'm more on your side of the argument now and yes, the monitor is going away and I do not accept ads for hyips or surfs (but I do have to honour existing contracts and I can't help what Google displays.)

I do have an issue with "too much government". Society has to sacrifice "personal freedom", instead I'd prefer to encourage people to take "personal responsiblity for their own actions". We can feel sorry for someone who loses money in (for example) a surf program, but ultimately it was their own greed that got them burned. I wish I had the $1850 I lost to Andy and his XLO/TFT back, as much as I wish I had the $500+ I recenty lost to Jack Cobb in Planet-Trust or the $2000+ from CompactSurfing last year, but I accept full responsibility for making those decisions. I just paid my property taxes and the $5000+ I lost in surfs alone could have covered that and my homeowners insurance (note: I never made a profit in any of the surfs I went big into, 100% were losses).

btw, Google has "Google Checkout" but it's very limited as far as a payment processor goes. I haven't seen many people using it.

ps. thanks for noticing the sql error. You just found an error in the wp-related plugin. I patched it and submitted it to the bugtraq.

Hi C4G,

I happened to see their performance on TV many months ago and now I don’t even remember their name but amazingly this group has been performing for the past 4 decades with the same lead singer. Since you brought up that history lesson, it reminds me of this group of Native blue musicians.

Do you have any links to MP3's of the music or to any websites? I'm a musician and programmer, in that order, by trade. I'd be interested in a listen.I'm glad some people like the new direction being taken with this blog. There are bigger issues than autosurf of hyip scammers, the biggest scams happen within the government.

On top of that, Lindsay Lohan, busted for a second DUI and Cocaine posession gets an hour in jail... BS, any black or hispanic kid busted for coke would do a year at least.

Mark Foley, Republican congressman from Florida gets busted pandering to underage boys, goes to alcohol rehab, no sentence, just resignation of position...

Yet in Florida they have people trolling MySpace and AOL busting anybody who talks dirty to a minor online with excessive sentences (even though the "criminals" were instigated by the people seeking to bust them just like reverse sting operations that bust crack buyers).

It's all a bunch of bullshit... Until "everyone is treated equal" as clearly stated in the constitution of the US, I'll question everything because there are always "scammers" who destroy the very fundamental philosopihies of freedom and America.

I'm not talking about Jack Cobb of Boyertown, PA who is scamming people with his MaximumSurfing sites, or Andy the scammer from Canada who has ripped countless people off in his XLO programs... or the CEP "Baptists" (the CEP site was on the Baptist Top 100 site???)... or Mikula from Phoenixsurf..

I don't understand WTF is wrong with our government in the US, but something needs to change. Where are the Cattyshaq and WWSN and scam.com people when it comes time to step up to the plate about real issues ??? Why do they not pay attention to government corruption but pay attention to some stupid hyip?? Maybe because they're scared? Maybe because they're weak? Maybe because they just don't know what they're talking about

Anyway, new article coming up that will tie the last two together.

Hi C4G,

Thank you for the great history lesson on Gold and American Native Indians. It is very interesting. I always feel sorry for the unfair treatment to the Natives in North America and how they are being isolated and suppressed.

There is a blue music sung by the Natives:

“….. you may suppress us, you may put us to jail; but you can never take away our spirit……. our spirit is the most precious of all …. never give up ……………”

(Incidentally, to my surprise, these Natives claim that they have the biggest influence on blue music with their native elements rather than the African Americans as we all know. They have the documentations and have been fighting for recognition.)

Great lesson for us all!!
