GoldEx Logo Once in a while you find a service that’s just so good you just have to tell everybody about it. For me, that would happen to be . GoldEx is a full service eCurrency exchanger that also offers a reloadable debit card. They work with E-gold, Webmoney, Pecunix, V-Money and used to deal with E-Bullion but after a recent threat by E-Bullion to confiscate GoldEx’s funds, they have suspended services to and from that processor.

GoldEx is the first fully 128 bit SSL secured PGP encrypted internet based transaction website for the purchase of e-gold and other internet currencies within 12 to 24 hours. They are definitely the fastest and most reliable exchanger I’ve dealt with outside of the now defunct Omnipay. I am personlly a GoldEx debit card holder and I’ve never waited more than 24 hours for my card to be loaded regardless of the eCurrency used to load the card. The same can be said for my experiences doing echanges through GoldEx. Their support is the best in the industry and the owner Marco is one of the most pleasurable and friendliest person to deal with.

GoldEx offers buying, selling and exchanging of numberous . GoldEx has been operating since 2001 and has many very satisfied clients from every country in the world. GoldEx is currently accepting E-gold sales and funding to the GoldEx debit card. The costs $50 and is shipped very quickly and well worth every penny that it costs to purchase one. Purchasing the card does not require any disclosure ofpersonal identification except for your name and mailing address, nor does funding your GoldEx card. Below is a list of the Goldex debit card’s fees and features.

GoldEx Card Fees and Features

  • Monthly Maintenance Fee $4.95
  • US ATM Monetary Transaction $1.25
  • Domestic ATM Balance Inquiry $1.00
  • Domestic ATM Decline Fee $0.75
  • International ATM Monetary Transaction $4.00
  • International ATM Usage Transaction $1.00
  • NOTE International ATM Usage includes Balance Inquiry & Declined Transactions.
  • PIN-Based Point-Of-Sale Purchase Transaction $0.55
  • PIN-Based Point-Of-Sale Decline Transaction $0.55
  • Card Funding e-gold 10.00% V-Money 3% - Pecunix 4% - WebMoney 5% - Minimum Fee $10.00
  • Replacement of card (lost or stolen) $20
  • Bank Funding Fee (per funding)$3.00
  • Daily withdrawal limit : USD 3,000
  • Maximum per ATM withdrawal: $500
  • Maximum load amount: $7,500 daily $30,000 monthly
  • No Name on the card
  • 100% Security & Privacy
  • Pay Merchants anywhere
  • Ideal for Family & kids

  • Affiliated with the VISA PLUS Network.

The GoldEx card is affiliated with the STAR - ® - PLUS network, it is accepted at over 5 millions Points of Sale (POS) worldwide and in some 650,000 ATM machines displaying the ‘PLUS’ logo, throughout the world. The card can be funded by Egold, WebMoney, Pecunix or V-Money. Card fundings normally take place the SAME DAY, and usually within hours. Card will NOT be shipped to certain countries due to banking regulations, so make sure to check with GoldEx support before ordering.

My next article will be on V-Money.net which is the new payment processor launched by Marco from GoldEx. That one looks like it has a lot of potential and I’m already using it to pay the PTP members on Code4Gold forums.

TD, I’m not sure how long V-money has been operating, all I’m going by is this bit of information on the about page.

    ———
Effective July 1st, 2007 www.v-money.net is owned and managed by Globyte S.A. a Panama Corporation duly incorporated and registered with the relevant authorities. On June 18, 2007 Globyte S.A has been issued a commercial license number 2007-4886 to process online payments.
    ——–

Regardless, after my bad experiences with IGE card and Cash Evolution card, I’ve been extremely impressed with Marco and the GoldEx debit card. I transferred a few hundred dollars from E-Gold to my debit card on Wednesday to cover my CPanel license on my server and it was on the card, and withdraw from the ATM on Thursday afternoon. Can’t beat that.

I’ve never had a problem with GoldEx. Don’t listen to the idiots on Talkgold forum who cry about a wire transfer taking 3-4 days. They’re a bunch of morons on that forum. Half of the complainers are other echangers trying to screw Marco’s reputation and the stupid mods at Talkgol have no clue and let them do it.

If you want good info, read Dave’s blog (this one), he is one of the most honest people in this industry and doesn’t lie for scammers or mince words.

Yes, they are still exchanging E-Gold and you canload your debit card with E-Gold as well. I just placedanother order today. I’d also recommend exchanging e-Gold to V-Money because IMHO V-Money and Webmoney are going to be the biggest processors in the coming months.

@TopEarner - Thanks for the compliments on the blog. Regarding the Goldex card, I took about a week for me to get my card from GoldEx. You’ll be very happy with it. I pesonally think it’s the best card out there. Just make sure to read the fee schedule. I know a lot of ignorant people don’t read the information and then complain later.

As I’ve stated, I highly recommend both GoldEx and V-Money (GoldEx’s payment processor). The debit card is especially nice.

I am new to online trading and payment processors. I’ve only ever used PayPal and only recently started using e-gold, so this is really interesting and informative for me. Thanks for the useful info!! I will be reading more.

What an interesting review. The rates seem a tad high but then if the service is solid and reliable it’s worth a try. Can’t wait to read your article on V-Money!

The E-Gold exchange rates are a bit high now because of the indictment against E-Gold a few months ago. Otherwise GoldEx really has pretty fair rates. Actually, SolidTRustPay will allow you to fund your STP account with E_Gold for 6%, which is very fair.

My personal favorite payment processors at the moment are Webmoney (wmtransfer.com) and V-Money whichis the new processor from Marco and GoldEx. I do recommend doing esearch before usng any exchangers or processors because things can be extremely volatile at times.

i personally don’t use Paypal for payments because they freeze accounts for no reason and you have to wait between 180 days to 1 year to get your money back.

lol I don’t understand why everybody is praising goldex and the goldex card. come on you don’t have to be a fucking genius to realize that their fees are huge and in the long run you’ll lose lots of money. and no i’m not from the competition and hopefully this comment won’t be deleted

maybe the reason people praise goldex is because they are reliable and they have not scammed people.

Nabukadnezar, you obviously don’t understand that *trust* is the most important factor in choosing an exchanger to work with. GoldEx is the most reliable exchanger I’ve ever dealt with although I do like superchange.ru because they do instant exchanges. Otherwise, I feel secure with Marco and GoldEx. You know the old saying “You get what you pay for” and i am definitely willing to pay for *premium* service such as is offered through GoldEx.

    Hi Guys !

Don’t be fooled by Marco from Goldex.
    His customer service STINKS !
His fees charged are HIGH !
His performance is SLOW & BAD !

I had send him one bankwire which Goldex took more than 1 month to clear.

Goldex is definitely a THUMBS DOWN for me. Spend at your risk.

I think you will spend most of your time chasing after him for YOUR funds.

    LOL………..

    Rocky,
What currency were you trying to purchase through GoldEx? I’ve never bought from GoldEx, only exchanged and I use their debit card with Webmoney and V-Money and my last debit card funding was fufilled in about 6 hours.

Also, Marco has always responded to emails very fast.

I could see if you had a large order for a currency that they weren’t holding at the moment, it might take them time to find a seller for a large amount.

It was just a normal bankwire for US$1000 to fund my e-Gold account.

    His service SUCKS !

It seems GOLDEX service is inconsistent and at times you have to SCREAM for your money.

Use his service at your own RISK. Once bitten twice shy.

I have been waiting for nearly four months on a wire. I have emailed them and left messages on their inbox system. I have never received a response. My member number is 2067130. The order is OW-21020. The order has been pending since July 26. Goldex.net is not an honest exchanger.

I’m interested in the debit card as a way to send money to my family in India. Can you load the card with some other source than an e-currency and if I send USD to my family in India, will they receive the equivalent amount in INR as if they exchanged from USD to INR at a bank.
