GPTForum Changes Ownership
I received this email from the admins for GPTForum this morning…
| Dear Code4Gold,
We are glad to inform you about some updates made at GPTForum.net First of all, as you might have noticed, the forum have changed domain name; however, almost everything has been preserved. What has not been preserved are the HYIP and autosurf folders. GPTForum.net is now a forum all related to the Get Paid To world, with no other involvments on the HYIP, ponzies, or these kind of programs/activities. We are also no longer affiliated with the previous owner in any way. We look forward to add new cool features on GPTForum.net to “bring it back to life”. We will probably need for more moderators as well, so please stay tuned should you want to help us! We also thought that it would have been cool to add a feature to entertain you, before/after doing your GPT stuff, that is why we have added an Arcade with some games and many more to come! You can find the Arcade here: http://www.gptforum.net/forum/index.php?autocom=arcade Yes, we will add more games in the near future, so stay tuned! For now, on the arcade is possible to play how many games and how many times you wish, and even to create your own “Sit N Go” sessions for the multiplaying (up to 15 players!). We thank you very much for your continued membership. If GPTForum.net is now a great source of informations and knowledge, is thanks to you all. Truely yours, Alex, Pam and Matt The GPTForum.net Staff |
GPTForum.com was believe to be owned by Talkgold network, however the new domain is privacy protected, so there’s no telling who actually owns the domain, however the links to all TalkGold related sites are gone from the site and is now hosted on another server than the old forum.
Although I’m not quite sure why it would be worth mentioning the HYIP and ponzi (btw, it’s not spelled ponzies) blurb. Evidently some people can be rather touchy about certain issues that obviously don’t matter because any forum with 13,000+ members that has less than five active members logged in at any time isn’t exactly going to come under much scrutiny. As far as the “bring it back to life” blurb, I’d humbly suggest that the current owners/operators figure out why it died in the first place. Hint : People get tired of being called scammers, get tired of having their ethics questioned, and people generally get tired of being told how to live their lives and conduct their business online. I think those might be the major reasons for such a heavy decline in people who actively post versus the rising member count.
Anyway, all things past aside, for those of you out there who are actively involved in the GPT (”Get Paid To”) community, I would recommend GPTForum.net as a good jumping off point into that industry because there has always been very reliable information regarding GPT programs. So before you sign up for that “paid to read email”, or “paid to whatever” program, you might want to give GPTForum a quick search and see what has been said there.
