WARNING : Forum and Website Owners Beware of spam.la Email Addresses
We’ve been having a problem with with spammers and vulgar posters at Code4Gold Forums over the last few days and I’ve found them to be using a new anonymous email service that allows people to use any email address they choose @spam.la and then go to the website to see the email messages (confirmation links, etc) on the website without having an actual email account there. The service bills itself as “Use spam.la email addresses for throw-away site registrations.” but the only people who would use such a service are using it for abuse purposes.

At Code4Gold we’ve blocked all email addresses originating from that domain and suggest all website owners, forum owners, and any site that requires registration to block all email addresses originating from that domain immediately.
