comment Please-Invest Cracks Down on Cheaters

The admin of Please-Invest (http://www.please-invest.com) is getting tough on people signing up to the program using multiple ID’s to cheat the referral system. Here’s the post from the blog today…

Despite the fact that I have banned many members for having duplicate accounts at Please Invest there still seem to be a few members who have multiple accounts. This is NOT permitted. When you are found to have multiple accounts they will be deleted and your investments will be confiscated. Do not try to cheat the Please Invest system.

If you currently have more than one account send me an e-mail and we will sort it out. Otherwise, you will be punished and have your accounts deleted.

Please Invest Admin

While I personally don’t see why people go through so much trouble to cheat a program out of a few percentage points in s, it still is and always has been a nuisance to program admins when people refuse to follow the terms and conditions.

comment E-Gold Get Tough on Online Gambling

The latest news from E-Gold (http://www.e-gold.com/news.html). I have to admit I’m a bit confused because the Safe Ports Act involves the transfer of funds between a site an a Financial Institution and I wasn’t aware that E-Gold was operating as a Financial Institution, and the whole premise of is that you are not transferring actual money but grams of gold.

e-gold Empowers Online Gambling Sites to Refuse Payments from US Persons On October 12, 2006, the Safe Ports Act was signed into law in the United States. As a result of the Safe Ports Act and the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 contained in the Safe Ports Act, the facilitation of many forms of Internet gambling by persons located in the United States has become a proscribed activity. With the objective of preventing the use of e-gold by United States persons for unlawful online gambling, e-gold has deployed a feature whereby any e-gold account holder may configure their e-gold account(s) to block incoming e-gold Spends from accounts controlled by Users residing inside the United States or who are accessing the Internet from within the United States. Online gambling businesses using e-gold are now required to enable this new account attribute.

If you login to your E-Gold account you can see the new settings under your control panel.

comment Just When You Thought You’d Seen it All… Tri-Star Genius at Work Again !!!!

I have to admit those people over at Tri-Star are still the most pathetic bunch of operators I’ve ever seen. Just when you thought they were running ponzi schemes disguised as s, they have come up with some real slick business marketing ideas to prove that they have an outside incoming to fuel their money making machine.

Thanks to Tdinoz for this link that just brightened my day…

Brookie’s Corner Store @ CafePress.com

I’ve never personally advocated burning of books, mousepads, coffee mugs or t-shirts, but if somebody tried to make me use a mousepad with Bob Krimm’s face on it, with the stock slogan “Don’t stop short of your greatest success”, I’d advocate burning it. Maybe should use his real slogan “Don’t stop short of your scamming potential”.

Maybe Bob + Brookie are going to use the money generated from this project to pay back members who were deed, but most likely it will be stashed away somewhere for their court costs or bail money when they get busted by the FBI.
