This letter has been a long time in coming, and I apologize for my tardiness over these past many weeks. I apologize to all of the supporters that were and are out there that believed in us. I do hope that this letter will be of some comfort to you.

First, let me tell you everything that happened up to the point where 13Percent went down.

It started with a DDOS attack against us. There were many of them that were initiated, but with the software that we had installed on the servers, the attacks were repelled. However, the hackers found a weakness in our system and attacked the support side of our servers. This attack worked and caused major problems for our staff.

Over time, we recovered from that, and began to come back from the attacks. Shortly after the DDOS attacks a hacker came out of the blue and hacked into our site. The hacker managed to take over the entire site, change the e-gold account number in the script, re-route the e-gold that was coming into 13Percent Surf and send it to their account.

We know who did it, and we are pursuing them and the funds at this very moment. All told, it looks like they siphoned off around $150,000.00 plus from the system. That is a huge amount to lose, and really hurt the program tremendously. Alert Pay also held over $36,000.00 and will not return that to us. They held that because of all of the complaints that people filed against us. (Incidentally, they have not refunded a single member any of that money) On top of all of that, the investor that we were using, took off with over $100,000.00 of the funds that we gave to him. Legal action is being taken against him as well.

What does this all amount to? Well in a nutshell, with all of the refunds that we have given out, the legal fees, the hackers, the hosting, all of it has caused 13Percent to go into the hole $135,000.00 That is all money that I had to take out of my pocket. So in total, 13Percent lost over $421,000.00. That is why we could not continue forward.

So what have we been doing over these past few weeks to help you and help 13percent get up and going again. Well, as you know, we have gone to a new dedicated server offshore. We have been working on the script, and the site to make sure that things don’t happen like they did before. I have been working very hard to get 13Percent back, and I think we are almost there. In fact, I am so serious about getting 13Percent back into full swing, that I mortgaged my house for $500,000.00 to use as front money to allow 13Percent to begin moving forward again.

Many of you have pending payouts in 13Percent. Rather than doing payouts with these pending payments, what we have chosen to do, is to let you compound your earned cash back into the system without the 20% fee that we normally charge. The fee will be waived for 30 days from the date of this letter. By doing this it allows you to take your earned cash and place it back into the system and compound your earnings. It also helps 13Percent in keeping the funds in the system.

Because of the state of our cash flow at present, we will not be honoring any refund requests. You can either compound your earnings or sell your account to someone if you would like, but refunds will not be honored no exceptions so do not ask.

Support will not be up until within the next 14 days. We are interviewing people and trying to find trustworthy people that understand the surf industry and can be helpful in handling whatever comes our way. Please be patient with us, we had some other support staff that really messed us up, and we do not want that to happen again.

While we are discussing the site, we are only going to be accepting e-gold for upgrades. They have proven to be a stable and supportive company toward us, and we will continue using them. We will not be using Alert Pay or e-bullion. Sorry for the inconvenience that this might cause some of you, but again, it is necessary.

Our forum will be back up within 7 days of this letter. Within 48 hours of this letter, the site will be fully functional and ready to roll.

One final thing. We are looking for a maximum of 10 people that would be interested in investing in 13Percent. What I can offer each person that invests is this. If you invest between $2,000.00 and $8,000.00 you will receive a 200% return on your funds within 30 days of your investment. I want 13Percent to move forward, and with a few investors that would be interested, we can really get 13Percent back up and moving in a great way.

I know at this point there are many skeptics looking at this letter and thinking that all I am doing is trying to scam people. Well, let me clarify some things. I put my house, my business and a lot of other things on the line to bring 13Percent back. It has been a very long road to get to this point, but we are here now, and we are poised to make a tremendous come back, and to help people in ways that we could only imagine.

I know that I have been gone a while, and I know that I have been called every name in the book and then some, but I assure you that we are back, and that I am dedicated to the success of 13Percent Surf.

Listen folks. Many of you have stood with me over these past many long weeks, and I appreciate that so much. It has meant a lot to me, and it is you that I serve now. All of you that stood in the forums and took the heat from the folks that wanted to see us fall. I am here for those of you that sent the supportive emails, week after week after week. I am here and we are back for those of you that are looking for a company that can withstand many trials and tribulations and still come back.

I am here for all of you, and I hope that you can understand, no matter what, I will make sure that 13Percent remains an integral part of your life and your happiness. 13Percent is back, and I intend to prove to all of you, that I can be trusted, and that 13Percent can help each and every member!
